About the project
This interesting project was born in architectonic studio EIS in Ceske Budejovice/Budweis. The object has two main functions. Bigger part of the building will serve as a parking space for 316 cars and should improve the parking possibilities in the centre of Ceske Budejovice. The rest of the building (office floors) will be rented for commercial purposes.
Administrative part of the building is located in the western part of the estate, in the street F.A. Gerstnera 52, forming a counterpart for the CB CITY building. It is offering to the tenants and visitors 4 500 m2 floor space, including shared facilities (corridors, social facilities, terrace)
BREEAM certification
The building is the first in Ceske Budejovice registred for BREEAM certification.
What is BREEAM? BREEAM is one of the most widely used internationally recognized methods for structure designing. It is setting up best practice standards in the field of structure designing with accent to sustainability and became a practical measure used for description of structure effect on the environment. BREEAM evaluation is using aknowledged performance scale, which are set up according to established criteria.
The evaluation is concerning the building specification, its design, construction and usage. Used scales represent large range of criteria from energy to ecology. They include aspects regarding use of energy and water, inner environment (health and life quality), pollution, transporation, materials, waste, ecology and managing processes.
Accessibility
Object of parking house benefits from perfect location on the southern edge of Ceske Budejovice historical centre. It is neighbouring with ice-hockey stadium and shopping and administratice centre CB CITY, which is mostly occupied with offices of company EON.
Parking house is easily accessible with all means of transport.
To reach it, you can easily use public transport. Bus and trolley bus stations „U Soudu“ and „U zimního stadionu“ are located 100 metres from the main entrance and the lines are connecting it to all main parts of the city (train station, bus station, exhibition grounds, shopping centres).
By car it can be easily reached from all directions – you just have to enter in the GPS navigation either the street F.A. Gerstnera 52, eventually coordinates 48°58’15″N, 14°28’22″E. Orientation point is as well the building of ice-hockey stadium.
